What is Meeza

Meeza is the Egyptian National Payment Scheme, developed under the supervision of the Central Bank of Egypt, that enables financial institutions to meet the needs of consumers who expect to make payments and access funds wherever, whenever and however they choose.

Our objective is to give customers different solutions to access a more secure and simpler way to manage their payments. By doing so we are supporting our nation’s vision of financial inclusion as a path to transforming Egypt into a less cash society. In line with this, Meeza operates a world-class payment system network that safely, reliably and efficiently handles financial transactions and is accepted by all Points of Sales (POSs) and ATM’s in Egypt.

For the customer, Meeza offers different products to access this network in Egypt such as debit cards, prepaid cards and mobile wallets allowing them to manage their finances safely.

The dependability and security of Meeza are complemented by broad channel acceptance and expansive coverage, enabling convenient, fast and secure consumer transactions.
