This collaboration enables users to add their Meeza cards to Apple Wallet and make payments using their iPhones, Apple Watches, and other compatible devices.

The integration leverages Apple Pay’s security features, such as device authentication through Face ID, Touch ID, or passcodes, ensuring secure transactions without sharing actual card details with merchants. This launch is expected to boost digital payment adoption in Egypt, aligning with the country’s efforts to promote digital transformation and financial inclusion, and reduce reliance on cash transactions

With the launch of Tap & Pay, Customers can now enjoy user friendly, secure, contactless payments in-store, at restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, and other retailers across Egypt by simply double-clicking the side button on their device and holding it near a payment terminal.
