The mobile wallet is an electronic account that the consumer can issue with their National ID and Mobile number only through one of the service providers (banks or telecom companies) Consumers can use their mobile wallets in money transfers, bill payments or cash withdrawals and deposits from ATMs.

Who are the Mobile Wallets service providers?

You can issue a mobile wallet from any of the following service provider: Vodafone, Orange , Etisalat, National Bank of Egypt, CIB, QNB, Banque Misr, AlexBank, Banque Du Caire, Housing & Developing Bank, Al Ahly Bank of Kuwait, AUDI, The United Bank, ADIB, BLOM, SAIB, Credit Agricole Egypt, Ahli United Bank, Suez Canal Bank, National Bank of Kuwait, Arab African International Bank, Export Development Bank Of Egypt, WE

Can I transfer Money from Vodafone Cash to Smart Wallet (CIB)?

Yes, You can transfer money from any mobile wallet to any other mobile wallet.

How can I become a Mobile Wallet user?

What is Meeza Digital?

Meeza Digital is the network that enables money transfers between mobile wallets and connects more than 16 million existing mobile wallets in Egypt.

Is there a mobile application for Meeza Digital?

No, there is no app for meeza digital. Each mobile wallet provider (like vodafone cash, or Phone cash) has its own app

What are the required documents to issue a mobile wallet?

Valid National ID and your mobile number

How can I activate the service?

Please refer to your service provider to activate your mobile wallet

Are there any fees to issue a Mobile Wallet?

No, there are no issuance fees on Mobile wallets.

How can I deposit money in the Mobile Wallet?

You can deposit money in your mobile wallet through:

1- ATMs
2- Your Service provider branch
3- From your bank account if your wallet is issued from a bank.

How can I withdraw cash from the mobile wallet?

You can withdraw cash from your mobile wallet through:

1- ATMs

Do I need to have a bank account?

No, you don’t need to have a bank account to issue a mobile wallet

What is the maximum and the minimum transfer amounts?

The maximum amount of transfers and daily cash-outs is 30,000 EGP. Please refer to your service provider for more information about their limits.

Can I use the mobile wallet for purchases?

Yes, you can purchase using your mobile wallet if the merchants accepts payment through mobile wallets.

I have a mobile wallet, how can I activate Meeza Digital?

If you have a mobile wallet then you are already using Meeza Digital services and can transfer and receive money from any other mobile wallet.

How can I unregister a wallet associated to my mobile number?

Go to: https://managewallet.meeza.eg Enter your mobile number & national ID. You will receive SMS with the provider your wallet is registered at and a code. Enter the code on the website to unregister your wallet.
